| Bio: | I like nice people. I like being nice. It's time for me to drop several communities so that I can continue feeling nice. I don't like being part of any group that delights so much in publicly humiliating others, even if it is a only a very predictable minority of them. It's mean, plain and simple, and if "mean" is someone's idea of fun, then they've got a psychological problem. Fix it. Not that I'm a saint, mind you. I've got a sarcastic, cynical, superior streak that's exactly half as wide as my nice streak. I just don't bring it out to play in public too often.  I love three people in this world...my daughters and Brown...and that's more than enough for me. I like making things. I hate instant messaging. I'm a vegetarian. I was a welder for almost 12 years. I like to play with fake hair. I've been married three times. I've been divorced once. I've been widowed twice. My second husband drank himself to death after we separated but hadn't divorced yet. My third husband died of brain cancer. I've finally found happiness and true love with Brown. I never really thought I would, so I always just "settled" before. I have a completely tattooed head. Well, not my face. I wish it was. I have developed a liking for bright colours and cute stuff that is a bit embarrassing. I'm goth/gypsy/hippie/punk/andmanyotherthings all rolled into one, but mainly on the inside. I'm an eclectic pagan, for lack of a better label. I spent half of my childhood in our home library reading classics...Poe, Hugo, Dickens, etc. I spent the other half in a creaky Victorian public library trying to read from A through Z in the adult section. The only children's books I can remember reading were the Trixie Belden series. I grew up in the southern US in a mansion ( I shit you not. Huge sumbitch.) built during the Civil War. It was haunted. I'm a hypoglycaemic who loves carbs. I love rhubarb yogurt. I hate _______er than thou people. I love the south (US) and southern writers. I love to crochet, knit, and embroider. I hate slugs and snails and things with little teeny feet. Fish creep me out. I love cats. I love autumn and winter, think spring is okay but sniffly, and HATE the summer. H.A.T.E. I love Halloween. I hate telephones except when talking to my daughters or Brown. It's almost a phobia. I think Amy Winehouse is one of the most disgusting creatures on earth. WASH YOUR HANDS! My favourite meal is cheese toast. I love drag queens. I love my heterosexual daughter. I love my lesbian daughter. I can't comprehend why one of them should be free to love and marry and not the other. I hate organized religion. I hate flavoured potato chips, er, crisps. My appendix asploded and it hurt a really, really lot. I started my dreads with wax and I stretched my lobes to 3/4" with double flared acrylics, and I LIVED TO TELL ABOUT IT! There is someone I hate with such intensity that it delights me. It's quite invigorating and my revenge fantasies are elaborate. I don't believe in actually exacting revenge...just enjoying the fantasy of it. I don't think there's anything wrong with hating people or things. I do think it's wrong to act on that hate. I love a clean home. It makes me happy. I love old faded linens. My dream is to live in Wales in a vewwy, vewwy remote area. I can very happily never leave the house for weeks at a time, but I'm not agoraphobic. I love tattered curtains, peeling paint, rust, stained and patched fabrics, and other assorted remnants of the past. I like ruins, ancient and modern. I love scary, creepy, sinister things. I love old movies, love stories or horror movies, particularly. I once had a record of sound effects and readings by Boris Karloff. My uncle who was a DJ gave it to me. I'd give anything if I still had it. I don't like pretty faces. I want to smoosh them up and make them interesting. I like quirky. I like to read about serial killers, medical anomalies, strange phenomena and all that good stuff. Dead Like Me was bitchin'. So was Firefly. So was Spaced. This is me...   This is Brown...
